Hi,

I'll be a Sophomore next and will be taking 2 APs and am planning on self studying for 1.

AP US History - I heard our school sells AMSCO books (which CCers recommend. But the AMSCO claims its sold out - so don't know if they plan to sell it next year).

In case my school doesn't sell the AMSCO books next year, what're some other good books? I hear mixed things about REA.

AP Comparative Government - Ethel Woods book?

AP Psychology - Barrons?

Thanks.

AP US History - I just ran off to find my favorite review book, but unfortunately it's AMSCO. I can't say what to buy, but I can definitely say NOT to buy the Barrons. I did, and it was utterly useless. For online resources though, www.historyteacher.net is excellent

The books you wrote for comp. gov. and psych. are the best.

Thanks rockermcr. I've had good experiences with Princeton Review in the past (AP Gov. and SAT II Bio), is it good. I'm about 70% sure the school will be selling AMSCO (Buying the book is apparently somewhat mandatory according to the Sophomores in my math class).
