Ok, so at orientation, we filled out textbook reservations. But, I have changed about 4 of my original classes and added one.

So, went to the ASU bookstore website and reserved again.

Will they give me double the textbooks? Or will they see the ID number and know.

Also, is ordering online usually how you get textbooks?

pre-ordering textbooks is very helpful. My daughter didn't and they were out of stock for some she needed. You might want to call the bookstore, however, to make sure you won't have two piles of books waiting for you.

Do you think if I did, that I could just not accept the ones I don't want/need.

Like, Im ordering a calculus book because that's what Im signed up for, but that might change if I passed the AP exam, so what would I do with that book when it's sitting in the pile.

I'm quite sure you are not obligated to take anything you don't want.

Thanks a lot! You're a great help!

You do not have to buy anything you reserve. I use it as a backup in case I can't find a particular book online. It's peace of mind knowing that they have that book waiting for you if you can't find it somewhere else for cheaper.

I think for my first semester...Ill just get them from the bookstore...instead of trying to find cheaper ones. As I go through college though, Ill definitely look for some good deals.

It looks like the regular books (not textbooks, but novels) are cheaper there though.
