when should i look into buying them and where does it list the required books for the classes i'm taking? i will be taking a fiat lux called clothing, culture, and controversy (anthro 19), spanish 2, GE cluster for global environment, and modern art. thanks!

Log into your myucla and there should be a link for your books. Either that or goto the ucla textbook site and you should have to login to see the books for your classes.

Look into buying them ASAP. Get them from half.com, amazon, etc. Shop around so you can get best prices.

I’m looking at my.ucla but I don’t see a link for my books. Where would it be under? thank you.

you can go here:

[UCLA STORE: Lobby](http://www.uclaestore.com/ucla/textbook_student.asp?ref=ucla&mscssid=3KR0JQ888BW78J9NCK4WC83L8KK59JM6)

how do I know which books to pick from? I heard some courses dont require every book listed. And what about the different editions? Am I supposed to wait until the professors email regarding that?

the editions listed on the site are always the right ones needed. you can just wait till school starts to hear what your professor has to say…as long as you get your books within 1-2 weeks, you should be ok.

usually you find out what you really “need” for a class through other students that have taken it.

ok thanks zzz
