Thanks CC, you guys gave me the determination I need to get good grades.
I got on High Honor roll because I saw how you guys were actually studying and stuff to get good grades. I thaught I was hopeless. Raised all my 70's last year into high 80's-90's.

Im in tenth grade.

English - 97
Global Hist 2 - 90
Math 2-89
Earth Science-92
Spanish 3-89
Sports Ent Mktin- 93
Gym-88
Health-95
My average for all these is a 91

wow, congrats that it gave you the motivation. It actually made my grades go down a little because I spend all my time on here procrastinating instead of studying like I would otherwise be doing.

Haha, I don't benefit from CC because it keeps me distracted from doing my homework.

My grades are low A's with one C and one F. I don't care about the C, but the F is going to be a little tough to bring up, especially when it is a 38% :D . And it's in Chemistry of course.

I got a 94% in Personal Fitness online and that is the only PE class I ever took. Our school doesn't require you to take Gym there; online PE courses are an option (I know...PE online?) haha.

I also had B+ in Phys Conditioning due to the attendance last year.

Right now, it's one A- which is about to become A -- APUSH, B+ in AP Chem which is too expected to become A soon and 88% in AP Calc with possible extra-credit equaling to 93% A.

PS. I just realized my priorities suck very much.
PPS. getting off of CC
PPPS. actually getting off of CC and starting revising the essays

^At least it's in an AP class haha. Currently I have a 90% in AP US Hist (with a 89.5% as an A), so I'm on the edge with that class. As long as I get a C in Chem, I'll be happy. It's wierd though because I'm supposed to be good at science....I got a 97% in Bio last year.

There's so much memorization to it. Like right now we are naming covalent compounds, writing their formulas, and determining their polarity and their VESPR (I think that's what it's called)...it's too much for me to grasp in 3 days.

I would like to thank CC too. Last time I posted something about my horrible H Chem teacher. And you guys motivated me to work harder on self-studying and possibly hiring a tutor. I did the former and I raised my C to an A. It's a stable A now. :)

I'd imagine the situation to be similar in my H Chem class. There is a huge gap between the A students and the lower students, and for a lot of them, it's not a lack of intelligence but rather a lack of resources.

Exactly. There is hardly anyone in between F's and D's to A's. I think it's because you either get it or you don't. After all, Chemistry is cumulative and you can't really learn one chapter without learning the one before it.

ap chem is the easiest ap science in my school

i have a 98...6 out of 21 have As, 6 Bs, 6 Cs, 3 Ds...she said she "compressed" the grades......but physics is straight math...bio is straigh memo...thats why i like chem...its like 50/50

I took honors chem last year, and it was really difficult for me..I ended up with a 92.6%--a 92.5% is an A. :)

This year I have honors anatomy/physiology, and it's basically impossible to get an A. Even the valedictorian of our class got her only B in it..
