Thank you note after college interview

Where do I send it?

Is a hard copy better than e-mail?

What should I say in it?

you can email, just say how grateful you were

1) Either put it in the teacher's school mailbox or hand deliver it.
2) A hard copy is more personal than an email.
3) Whatever you want, as long as it's not a Hallmark-esque, robotic thank you. They made your recommendation personal, make sure you return the favor in your letter.

^ um to the post above.
he's writing a thank you card to the interviewer that interviewed him for a college. Not a teacher rec haha.

I'd say hard copy seems like you're trying to hard, an email would be fine but don't make it too trite.

If you actually have a way to give them a thank you note then do it. If you don't then send them an email or whatever you can do.

i wrote my interviewer an email. It was brief, but detailed enough that I mentioned specific things she told me I'd love to get involved in at Stanford and I related back to a joke we shared during our interview. She wrote me a thank you note for my thank you note with specifics about my science research which was cool and funny at the same time. Who writes a thank you note for a thank you note? lol. just keep it casual, that's all.
