Thank you note?/

Hello,
I applied EA to UMich a couple of days ago. Throughout the past 2 months, my admissions counselor who works at UMich helped me a bit. I would email her whenever I had a question about scores, requirements, etc. Over the past 3 months, we've probably emailed 4-5 times, the most recent one was probably a month ago.

Should I write a quick thank you email to her? Or would this seem like I'm sucking up to her, and if she is in charge of my admission decision, I don't want to screw things up.
I know this is a bit of a silly question, but I don't really know. Thanks!

If you are to do it make it short and dont over do it

Is it safe to assume that you thanked her for taking the trouble to answer your questions at the time?

I hope you did. I think emailing her right now would seem a little obsequious. After admissions decisions come out, you could send her a note of thanks then, if you’re so inclined.
