Thank you!

I stumbled on the CC website last spring while frantically searching for information about music programs for my D, then a junior. As a family of medicine/science types...we were stunned and clueless when said child announced she wanted to study music performance in college. The information I received here was truly invaluable. Beyond Julliard, I could not have named a single other conservatory. I would not have known that it was possible to schedule music lessons with teachers at colleges and conservatories prior to auditioning...which obviously proved to be hugely important. The insight gained about the different double degree programs was very helpful. I am deeply appreciative of all who have shared over this past year, and have enjoyed all the stories. It feels a little anticlimatic that for our family, for this child, the process is now complete. Do we get to check back in when it's time for grad school...or, here's a concept...jobs?

Sure, if you really want to. Personally, I plan to let my daughter handle those things for herself. (Although I do reserve the right to ask about her plans and perhaps provide a reality check if she seems not to have any.) I'm hoping that four or five years as an undergrad will prepare her to do a decent job of it on her own.
