Parents' Weekend is Oct. 10
Homecoming is Oct. 31

ADVICE -- make reservations early! Hotels fill up for football games and graduation.

Yup--make reservations NOW. Look for hotels that do not require prepayment for reservations and just GET ONE for parents weekend or any games you might go to. Many hotels have minimum stays of 2 nights Fri and Sat, but there are some that require only one night. You can reserve a room and still cancel with no penalty for many hotels, and cancel as late as 1-2 days before.

For parents weekend, just reserve NOW. Same for homecoming or Labor Day weekend.
