The AMC10, AMC12, and AIME thread

lol, i guessed on 6 questions that I didn't know. Definitely wont get the 136 from last year. Man I suck at maths now, maybe its just apathy...

Haha AMC 12 was hard...any chance the cutoff might be lowered? Like 95, or 90 or even better would be nice.

uh guys did u think that it was harder than usual

I thought it was easier than usual. Which did you take? AMC 10 or AMC 12?

the 12, lol. . .

Um, AoPS has its AMC forums locked until Sunday, so you should probably not discuss it until then.

Oh, OK. -----

I took the 12... took the 10 last year and I totally thought the 12 was better.

I only answererd about 11 problems....

I missed #1... ARGH!!! left 24 blank, so hopefully a 139.5 or 133.5 or... don't want to think further

DARN #1!!!

Wow I took the AMC12 A and it sucked.... i left like 7 blank and wasn't sure on a lot of answers...ehh

wow u guys are smart =OOOOOOOOOOOO
so if you would guess the index wat would u say? lower or higher than last year's?

I'm predicting I got 90ish.

I didn't really expect anything, since it's my first year, but...I thought I did horribly (only answered 11, ha) until all of my math-geek friends said the same thing...xD

Yeah I think I gor 90ish too.

lol, jenkster. Last year, I missed #1 on the AMC 12 B because I put something like 769 instead of 796. Got a 135 instead of 141. I was rather disappointed.

wow amc12 was impossible!
last year i got 115 for amc10 and i was two points away from the cut off
definitely did not do well this year... i only completed around 14/15 ish problems and i wasn't even sure about all the asnwers...

lol #1 peeves me off so much. I've missed it more than once, too. But it didn't cost me too much this time whew it takes a lot of pressure off the AIME.

good luck to all who still haven't found someone with the answers or who are going to take 12B!

who lives in NJ and is taking the B, can i come to ur school to take it

it's not going to be hard finding a school in new jersey, it's a pretty competitive state. go look on aops or something.

hmm i thought it was easier this year compared to last year; i answered 21 and got only 1 wrong out of the ones i answered
