*** The AP European History Practice Thread ***

lol. i love you scrivener. i’m going to sleep now too.
i hope you all do well!!! we’ll kick butts, just cause we’re cc-ers and overachievers! hahah

I’m guessing the FRQ is going to be about:
Soviet Union
Russia during "the great"s
French Revolution
Reformation

i know this is way too late, but the AP Achiever for Euro is the way to go!

Good night guys. Good Luck tomorrow! :]
we got this.

Good luck everyone!

Good luck, dudes!.. I was going to try to think of something clever to say that relates to Euro, but my mind isn’t functioning that well at this moment. Sleep well

Good luck everyone! Don’t forget a quick review before school xP

quick question: can we write in pencil? or pen only?

MC = Pencil
Essays = Pen

Anyone still up?

What were three reasons Martin Luther was succesful with the reformation while others failed?

because his proposals were advantageous to the nobility whose power and wealth increased if they became lutheran
thus, he had important people, not peasants, on his side

Ok. So if there’s an essay question about that. My three body paragraphs will be:

Had Conservative beliefs, therefore pleasing Nobles and gaining powerful figures on his side.

I’ll explain how the Catholic Church underestimated him and took too long to react before they could effectively stop him, and

People were becoming displeased with being Catholic.

For the last one, I wouldn’t say put it that way. Instead, I would say that people were becoming displeased with the abuses of the Catholic Church. (examples of such: simony, nepotism, clerical ignorance, and an overall decline in the prestige of the church due to events such as the babylonian captivity and the great schism.)

Good luck to all the students taking this test today. My S will be taking it and he is very nervous. I have read that the AP Euro test has a nasty curve. I hope all the practice questions and tips I got for him here help.

^I’m a bit nervous as well, but much more excited that I ought to be, haha. :D

What did you guys think?
I think I misread a prompt(3), was it:

or
~~~~~~~~ views AND relationship between...</p>
MC and DBQ were a joke, but everyone in my class wrote essays 4 and 7
Yeah I wrote 4 and 7 too. I thought MC was super easy, but then I found out I messed up on several easy ones. Like #2 with the picture. Sigh…
I thought FR was extremely diffucult :/
I wrote 2 + 5 btw.
MC was okay, not too difficult, I skipped six. I dont really see myself getting more than 15 or 20 wrong, so I think I’m in for a four. My essays were pretty shizzy, so I’m anticipating 5/9 on the DBQ (which was MAD hard for me) , 3/9 on FRQ 1 [#2] because I only used two examples and rambled and it overall just sucked and a 2/9 on FRQ 2 [#5] because I didnt know what the heck I was talking about.
