I did 3 and 7. I thought that 4 was too general, and I didn’t know too much about it. I felt like my DBQ was pretty solid, and the MC were definitely easier than on any of the practice tests. i only left two blank hopefully I didn’t get a ton wrong

Anyone else think that the MC was extremely obscure? It was nothing like any of the practice tests I took. I didn’t even know what the Weimar Republic was either until I looked it up on Wikipedia and read 1 one line about it…I wrote essays 2 and 7 and pretty much BSed them both! And what was with there not being ANYTHING on WWII? There was a political cartoon with Hitler stabbing Stalin in the back, but that’s about it. This test was really disappointing since I always get 4s and wanted to get 5s this year.

well, the crash course book only had like two pages for all of WWII. It seems like the amount of content per time period decreases as it becomes more modern- like they had the most on reformation stuff, and the least on more current happenings

snowboardqueen, edit your post. we all need to be super careful about revealing anything about the test.

MC was moderately difficult (harder than some of the practice tests I took), DBQ was medium, FRQs I thought were hard (I did 4 and 7 as well).

snowboardqueen- You really need to edit that post.

MC got me. I thought it was pretty hard, actually.

First read through of the DBQ I was really scared. I had no idea what to do. But it turned out REALLY well. Like either an 8 or 9.

FR… scared me again. I figured they’d make the FR easier in place of having harder MC section. Nope… I did 2/6. At the end of each eassy though, I thought I did pretty well. I’m hoping for/expecting either 7-9 on both!

What happens happens!

Yes I agree. MC was tougher- it was my strong point throughout the year, yet this one was hard and I don’t think I did as well as I could.

DBQ- confusing at first to form POV/paragraphs, but I got it I think.

FRQ’s scared the heck outta me too. I did 4/7. 4 got me pretty well, it was tough. I just didn’t know the info.

7 I completely rocked- I had a whole presentation about it exactly so I was very lucky!

I skipped 10 on the MC. But for my practice exam, I only skipped 7 and did badly, so hopefully this plan of attack worked out better. The MC was easier than all the MCs I’ve taken this year, but the essays were more obscure than the ones I’ve done this year. I did 3 (not really sure I even properly answered the question) and 7 (I wrote a really long one, so I guess that’s a good thing). I’m always iffy on the DBQ, so I don’t even want to guess.

MCs were hard… some of the questions i was seriously like ***… (my art history background failed me… I never thought a 4 on the art history test would come back go bite me so hard…)

FRQ i think i did pretty well. 13 and half pages of blood hehehe… i did 4/7 here… both topics i was very comfortable with.

The Crash Course helped A LOT. A majority of the questions found in the guide was in the MC. I am so pleased with the AP test. Hopefully I get a pretty good score.

I did 3/7 for the free response.

A side note - when I left that testing room, I frolicked harder than I’ve ever frolicked before.

Anyway, I did FRQs 3 and 7. I was so, so, so inexpressibly happy about the topics, and I felt really good about the DBQ topic as well, since that’s what I spent most of my time this morning studying. I think the Crash Course helped a lot with some of the more obscure MC questions.

Fairly certain I omitted 7 questions in the MC. I’m hoping for at least a 4 but internally, of course, I’m praying lightning strikes and I end up with a 5.

How long were your essays? (Hopefully I’m allowed to ask this…I don’t want the College Board coming after me.) My DBQ was relatively lengthy, 6 or 7 pages, and for #3 I wrote 3 1/2. My response for #7 was only 1 1/2 pages, though.

I’m glad to see a lot of people are feeling okay about the test too! Although I mostly lurked this thread, I very much appreciated all of your intelligent, helpful input during the studying process.

I thought the MC was really easy; I only omitted 3. The DBQ was more difficult than the ones I’ve done before (past AP exam DBQs), and the FRQs were just horrible. I BSed my way through FRQs 4 and 5. I’m just glad that I had clues about what to do for those. All 4 others were just over my head (especially #6).

I thought the test was pretty easy
MC was a breeze (and I didn’t have REA)
DBQ was eeh, probably a 5…
FR was amazing, #7 was one of our unit essay prompts, almost exactly the same
I’m sure almost everyone in my class was crying with joy when they saw it.

My DBQ was only like 2.66 pages… I guess I’m done. i felt rushed for it. Making the body paragraphs was sort of difficult for me. I only left one blank… prob not a good thing because I’m really not THAT good at AP Euro :(. but ya… I averaged about 2.5pages per essay. not good :(

What was the Paris Conference / Vienna Conference?

MC: Easy. A few questions needed some thought, but most were simple.
(I still don’t understand the leaving blank answers thing. I always make an educated guess.)
DBQ: Random topic, but easy. Easy to group too. 4 pages of big handwriting.
FRQ1: #3 It was okay. 4 pages.
FRQ2: #7 (pretty much everyone I talked to afterward did this one) BS-ed the second half 'cause I didn’t really know much. 2.5 pages.

I’m confident I got a 5 :)

^^Paris Conference - when Europeans settle World War I and wrote the Versailles Treaty.

Vienna Conference - after when Napoleon was deposed and monarchs were re-established. Many European countries were negotiating border and territory. Metternich arose prominently as a political leader and established the Holy Alliance with Prussia and Russia, which crushed liberal revolutions.

Does anyone know which year had the highest curve for AP Euro? Was it 2004 where 122 was a 5?

Wow. All I can say is that it was A LOT harder than I thought it would be.

In class this week we took last years exam, and I got a pretty solid 4, and was expecting todays test to be on the same caliber…

Yeah, not the case.
MC was SO hard, I started panicking halfway through.

DBQ was just… ***. I put them in stupid groupings… :(

And FRQs uh oh. Hoping for at least a 5 on both, but I did #2 & #6 and I think I answered #2 wrong… Hopefully not, I’ll have to check with people when the 48 hours are up. #6 was pretty straightforward, but I only had about 15 minutes to write it because organizing my DBQ took SO LONG.

And last thing is that it didn’t help that I sat next to the smartest person in our class during the test. She was just speeding through the test…

I wanted a 4 before, as a realistic goal, because I knew 5 was out of reach. Now, I’ll be lucky if I get a 3.

I’m thinking I did fairly well on MC, I skipped probably around 6-8 and guessed on quite a few but only after narrowing them down to two answers and picking the one I had a stronger inkling for. >_> The DBQ I’m pretty sure I blew because my categories were totally undefined and the only thing I learned about the Weimar Republic were the bullets about it in Crash Course. For FRQs I did 3 and 7 which I mostly just bs’d but I’m thinking I’ll get 5s or 6s. Overconfidence led me to expect a 5, cos I felt pretty prepared last night, but now I’m thinking I at least got a 3. :p
