does anyone know what you need to get on the barron govt practice test to get a five? i was surprised that there was no formula to calculate ap score (im used to princeton review!)

Which The Federalist papers do we need to know?

Also, on the MC questions on the GoPo course description, I don’t understand why the answer to question 22 (the one about federal spending and laws that lie outside the regular budgetary process) is “entitlement programs such as Social Security”.

I can’t find this chat…can someone invite me to it?
My screen name is jonjon1324

we need to know fed 10…i can’t remember what the importance was though…:frowning: sry…

Heh, I actually know Fed 10. It stated that although Madison was against the creation of factions, he realized that their creation was inevitable. He did understand, however, that there would be items set in place to limit the factions.

Federalist 10 was about factions. Madison wrote that a big republic would be better to guard against them so that one doesn’t take over.

We actually have to know about specific Fed papers? I’ve yet to come across ANY MC that asks about a specific one…

There’s a question in the course description that says: “Which of the following is argued by James Madison in The Federalist paper number 10?”

both sparknotes, and barrons had specific ones…i think…

wat are regualtory agencies and are cabinet members civil servants

do u guys have to go back to class after the test?

regulatory agencies is explained in this thread already (page 14-ish)

the test is 145 mins
