trade between New World, Africa and Europe. basically: Slaves from Africa to New World (Middle Passage), sugar and tobacco from New World to Europe, European goods to Africa.

Q: Who were the two 'holdout' states concerning the Constitution?

ziggy edited his post
he said that his question was above before he edited it

were the states rhode island and north carolina?
i'm not too sure on this one but here's my question anyway:
who founded the massachusetts bay colony?

Massachussetts Bay Colony was John Winthrop, wasn't it? The signers of the Mayflower Compact founded Plymouth, which only much later became a part of the Massachussetts Bay Colony.

Yes, it was Winthrop...I might have asked the question a couple of pages back as a matter a fact....;)

Since GB did not enforce the Navigation Acts (I think), colonies were able to have a sense of self-rule and were able to to get around the Navigation Acts by bribing if necessary? [This might be a total stretch...]

Although the stock market crash of the 1929 is often associated with the Great Depression, what factors actually out weigh the crash.

ya willact, thats what i was looking for. They were able to trade to get what they needed without GB, also got to try out self-government and realized they could do it.

And, I dont know what you mean by your question

willact4food-I don't know what the hell you're talking about, but I'll try to answer. GB didn't enforce the Navigation Acts during the Period of SALUTARY NEGLECT (write this down, big points if you use it on an essay-not really, but it's a positive) and therefore the colonial traders became complacent and when GB decided to enforce it again, the colonists are like "***?" and decided to revolt. Basically.

The stock market crash of 1929 predicted the Great Depression. But the crash was only a minor part of the cause of the depression. It was because of lack of capital investment, too much margin trading, and deflation and some other reason, just don't remember.

Oh, hey people :D
I'm going to cry if I don't get a 5 on the AP.

Errrrm...that's what I sort of said in response to the salutary neglect question...maybe you didn't see the did not...is the bribary completely off based. Then when did US merchants bribe tax collectors to look the other way...in regards to sugar and rum...?

I want a 5 so badly. But I erm, need to start doing my HW from the Cold War onwards. o_0 I remember practically nothing from the first term of APUSH. I have faith...I got a 3 in AP Euro by just reading the Barrons review book...and I actually did the work this year for APUSH.

ah, no questions for me to answer, so ill ask

The 1970s and 1980s saw an increase in all of the following except:
A) the influence of Christian fundeamentalism
B) the average age of Americans
C) support for consumer and environmental movements
D) the number of women holding political office
E) the percentage of two-parent households

meh, probably the land grants to colleges...giving us the current Land Grant Trophy for the winner of the Penn State-Michigan State football game

What was the more popular name for the Compromise of 1877?

It was an informal deal worked out between the two political parties. Hayes would become president if he would immediately end federal support for Reps in the south and also support thr building of a southern transcontinental RR.
