new question: how and why was the collapse of empire more severe in western Europe than it was in the eastern Mediterranean or in China?

W. Euro went 2 dark ages; China-Sui Dy.

Q: Name all the Ancient civilizations. What did each contribute to the world?

do you mean like river valley civilizations?
mesopotamia - hammurabi's law code, cuneiform, epic of gilgamesh
egypt - bronze weapons, 365 day calendar, pyramids, mathematics
indus - jewelry, trade, the writing system hasnt been deciphered
shang/zhou - oracle bones, bronze metallurgy, iron metallurgy
mesoamerica/south america - colossal heads, their agriculture was not in river valleys

Q) during the period of 600-1450, how did gender roles change?

well it depends on the society. for example, in china, it was mainly patriarchal where women had limited rights and were considered inferior to men. also those in the middle east were bound to the islamic laws and women there were forbidden to be seen and if they were they had to be accompanied with someone and they had to be covered from head to toe. in some rare instances, those who were in a higher social status were able to obtain higher positions in governments. it wasnt until the later years, like 1914-present when women were able to gain a higher status as men.

This is wrong.
Remember there are 70 questions, but even if you get them all right, they're scaled so the maximum is 60. So you would need to multiply this "60" by (6/7) which would turn out to be around 51.4.

For the essays, max score is 27, and these 27 points are half the exam, which is 60 points. 60 divided by 27 is 2.2222... To compute the score, add up all the essay scores, and multiply that by 2.2222... (20/9). Add this to the multiple choice scaled score for the final score.

someone post a new question?
