1471+(1600-1471)/58=1473

1473 + (1440-1473)/59 = 1472

1472 + (1360-1472)/60 = 1470

damn i hate bringing down averages..

1470 + (1410-1470)/61 = 1469

1469 + (1230-1469)/62 = 1465

i brought it down 4 whole points =(

man! i am very disappointed in us all!!! we are still not at 1500s!!! how stupid are we!!!

1465+ (1530-1465)/63= 1466
Yes brought it up by 1 point!

1466+(1560-1466)/64= 1467
I'm helping the average too (its actually 1467.446875, if we dont want to lose that half a point by simplifying within our recursive formula)

1467+(1550- 1467)/65= 1468

hey with a 1470 i'm right on par, but doesn't it seem weird that the average on cc is well above the 95% level for actuals? i think 90 is 1250?

cujoe anyone obsessive enough about their scores to go on CC probably has something to show for it.
A good analogy eludes me.

hmm I have one. it's like figuring out all htosepeers at the country club are earning the top 5% salaries... if you catch my drift

This post shouldn't be used to make any conclusions (as my AP Stats teacher would say, this yields nothing, and is "garbage stats")
I'm sure many aren't posting for some reason -- non-response bias & voluntary response bias.
But then u all knew that.
How can i post my ACT score?
33/36*1600 = 1467 ??

danielsjang my conclusion is just a bit of logic.
If you eliminated all the people who plainly do not care much about the SAT, people who would not frequent this board, then you have a higher average. Even if people do not post their score, the average would remain high.

The only time I ever did it was to get into CTY when I was 14 (9th grade-ish?), that was a 1290. Mucking up your shiny average.

1468+(1020-1468)/66=1461

yeah baby...

1461+(1510-1461)/67=1462

1350, but i'm only a junior.....

1462+(1570-1462)/68=1464

i think that average is in the 98th percentile overall.. kind of funny that my 1460 is below average...
