The best choice

I will be realistic. I am not getting into G-town, nor nyu, so i decided to make a list of colleges i could get into. Out of the following which one is best for finance and/or accountancy?

Boston College
University of Illinois Urbana Champaign
Indiana University
Lehigh
Rutgers

I know UIUC is VERY well regarded for Accounting and I believe IU is too.

can u rank them

Go to these schools, in order.

Boston College
Indiana
UIUC
Lehigh
Rutgers

Boston College's finance/accounting programs are ranked lower than Indiana's and UIUC's, but its a much more competitive and prestigious school. Indiana and UIUC are pretty good, with UIUC more known for accounting. Indiana holds more prestige though for Business overall. Lehigh is a good school too. As for Rutgers, No. Above average school overall, but not good for finance/accounting.

I agree with Nick's assessment, but let me throw something else out there:

Where do you intend to work and settle? Midwest or Northeast?

grew up in ny and nj so I intend to stay in the northeast but i wouldn't really mind moving out west to like chicago.

Well, if you're intending to stay in the northeast i suggest BC. But, Indiana and UIUC are great schools, and would be an advantage if you were looking for employment in Chicago.

which one is better IU or UIUC

UIUC, but IU is a good school too.

Overall, UIUC. For Finance, Indiana. If I had to choose, I'd go with UIUC because it has a better name overall.

jow are you so sure ur not getting in to g-town and nyu...wuts ur grades/sat's?

1430 m/cr but here is the biggie 6ish percentile ranking at a ****ty high school
