the best SAT books

ok ive been browsing through SAT threads kind of alot, trying to pick out which book is good for each subject but i cant really get an idea on which is the best, so i wanted to start a thread on what you think is the best book for each 'type' so to speak

please copy and paste and add on so its easy to see the majority
i started on 2 types
if you want to 'second' another users suggestion, just mark 2 next to that book, and then the next person will mark 3, etc. it will make it easier to see which book the most people like

thanks!
im trying to get a good idea on what to get, and i hope this helps other ppl as well

get the blue book for sure. i would recommend also princeton review, that worked for me..it's not so much cut and dried method...the book's written in a more conversational tone than, say, barrons or kaplan. if you like more fun book, try "up your score"..if you like more strict, challenging book, try barrons.

Excellent idea, we will be ranking books in most of those categories by the end of the weekend. You can view the rankings on ceeae.org

Currently, we only have three categories: Best Strategy-Only books, Best Single Prep books and Best Test Only books. However we will add: Best Basic book and Best for Perfect Score book by the end of the weekend.

The "Just" subject area book rankings will take a longer time to do, since none of them are in our database of reviews.
