The Big Harvard/Yale RIVALRY...a hindrance?

<p>I know that the rivalry is pretty big between Harvard and Yale...so, would my participation in the Harvard SSP become a hindrance into my admission into Yale? Do you think the admissions officers will see that as a "disloyal" thing to do and make a biased decision based on it?</p>

<p>I hope not. I plan to attend the Harvard SSP next summer and not the Yale Summer Session because the classes at Harvard interest me more, but I'd much rather go to Yale for college...</p>

<p>No way; It's all rhetoric and fun, but Yale still wants the best kids it can get. Go to Harvard SSP - it's a good summer school; then apply to Yale EA - doing so is usually your way of indicating to the college that it's your first choice.</p>
