If your a student with around a 3.56 UW gpa and a 3.9 W gpa who has tremendous ec’s (community service, varsity letters, NHS, scouts, civil air patrol) and has predicted 1900 SAT will you get in? Is it a good school? Can you become a pilot there?

Yes it is a good school. Yes you have the chance of being selected to UPT from there.

Ok im just trying to get a feel for how their academics are and what type of high school students enter.

Also, keep in mind that they do have tuition(~$25,000/year(I think))

Yes that kinda stinks.. But if I get bright futures (the standard scholarship of Florida) Then I can just pocket the money they give me and use it there.

or you can get an ROTC scholarship

thats true are ROTC scholarships easy to obtain with my stats? Also, should I apply to ROTC programs when im applying for USAFA just incase I get denied.? thanks

Yes, it is recommended to apply through ROTC if you are applying to an academy.

ok ill make sure to do that. God I love these forums there so informative! :)

There, they're and their:

good luck

Alittle more about The Citadel if you'd like to read this.

Whats your problem tactical nuke? Geez i didnt realize I had to be so formal over the internet im only just chit-chatting. :(

I have a penchant for 3rd-grade grammar.

Yea im kinda a grammar-addict myself (henceforth im best at writing section of SAT) so I can feel where your coming from but I was being informal because im over the internet and I wanna relax and not think of grammar.

Alrite than men I sea wear u r comeing frum.

ho. k tats kool

You can NOT use Bright Futures at the Citadel. You can use FB at any FL, school public or private. To receive the money you have to be enrolled at FL school and the money is deposited in your bursar account/at some schools they will deposit it in a savings account if you have FL prepaid. If you get 100%/75% it can be held for your use up to three years after you graduate from high school. Unless you are in the military (enlisted) then you can use it when you leave the military.

ok that basically means my friend has no idea what he is talking about. Thanks for telling me.

hey you know the guy that was the superintendent of USAFA was a Citadel Grad!

whoa awsome! :P
