EA at MIT isn't technically harder...it's just...not easier.
but i suppose in reality, it would be because now you're competing with all the great overachievers who are sure they want to go to MIT.

Yale!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

EA-Georgetown!!! Rolling: New College of Florida and Illinois Wesleyan

Harvard EA and probably UMich rolling admissions

Either Notre Dame or Duke

I really really want to do Princeton ED... but not sure yet whether I want to commit to ED.

Columbia ED

aha123: To the College or SEAS?

I'm torn between ED Princeton or EA MIT... I haven't really decided which is my first choice school.

Harvard EA

everywhere else RD :-)

Stanford EA
RD on others

I think EA at MIT is harder. Not technically, but because it's more focused, I think in the stats/extra-curriculars/awards department more is expected out of you.

no ed or ea anywhere for me

Stanford EA

no ea/ed for me now. I've made my decision, and it wouldn't help me much for where i'm applying

I'm either doing SCEA at Stanford or EA to as many of my matches/safeties that let me.

Most likely UPenn ED.........parents want me close

EA: MIT, Caltech, University of Chciago

When I get rejected from MIT and Caltech I'll apply to some other schools RD.

post RSI: I'm trying Harvard EA; we'll see how it goes...

EA at Stanford or ED at Princeton. Aggghhh... I can't decide!
