Just post how excited you are. Because we are all excited, whether you want to admit it or not.

I bought Batman: Earth One (new graphic novel) out of sheer anticipation. I've never read a comic/graphic novel in my life. It was really good too.

I already have my ticket to see it in IMAX at midnight on Friday morning.

I got every achievement in Arkham City just because I couldn't get enough of Batman.

I've resisted looking at the just-released spoilers like a young woman resists temptation for the sake of her future spouse.

Oh, and something that's insanely cool: the grocery store I work at has a big thing with Pepsi so the store always has big displays of Pepsi products in the foyer of the store. Anyways, Mountain Dew has that big promotion with TDKR, right? So the foyer has been completely renovated to look Batman-esque. It's awesome. They have "DARK KNIGHT" spelled out with Dark Berry Mountain Dew 12 packs. Oh, and the Bat Symbol. Oh, and did I mention that The Dark Knight has been playing constantly in the foyer on a small plasma screen TV? Well, it is, and has been for like 3 weeks. I love it. I'd already seen it around 25 times but now I've seen it probably a grand total of 50.

I freaking love Batman.

i hope it’s not too scary.

I’m excited… can’t say I’m quite as dedicated as you are, though.

So excited oh my god!!

@TheKongo, have you done that? The challenge maps took me forever.

But I’m embarrassingly good at that game haha.

Midnight IMAX tickets went on sale and sold out at least 6 months ago so instead I’m going on Friday.

Lincoln Square is the biggest IMAX screen in the country :D

I’m sorry guys but Bane is going to crush Batman…

excited excited excited excited…

…soooo excited

Myself being a superhero/comic book nerd with Batman being my favorite hero, I’m really excited. Not as much as you though lol. And I wanna get all of the achievements, but I suck at riddler related things.

I’m pretty excited. I’m sure this movie will break records at the box office the weekend it comes out.

Sharker, I don’t think it’s going to break many, if any, box office records Simply because it’s not in 3D.

I thought I’d just leave this here for any Batman fans who also happen to love theatre, musicals, comedy, and parodies:

[Holy Musical B@man! Act 1 Part 1 - YouTube](<a href=“Holy Musical B@man! Act 1 Part 1 - YouTube”>Holy Musical B@man! Act 1 Part 1 - YouTube)

Thank me later.

Actually, it’s being projected to rival The Avenger’s opening weekend. So it’ll definitely break some records.

The Dark Knight broke a bunch of records, however one can attribute that to Heath Ledger’s death and the insane free-publicity the movie profited off of it.

And @goodnoodle, I used a wiki guide for some Riddler trophies. That’s it though, the rest was all me. If you wanna be fair and not “cheat,” you can just interrogate the green-highlighted thugs around the city.

@Descuff, if Batman doesn’t die I’ll be thoroughly surprised. There are so many things that hint at that.

1: This is Nolan’s last Batman movie. He’s said so himself. So why not kill him?
2: Nolan’s take is so “real-world” on the whole subject. Having Batman die would make a ton of sense.
3: The movie posters themselves have “The Legend Ends” written all over them. So, yeah, pretty easy to see.
4: Nolan, if anything, isn’t scared to kill off Batman. No other superhero will ever be killed off; Batman could be the first (I’m saying in movies; yes, I know superheroes have died before in respective comic books).
5: In a few trailers, Batman says “I haven’t give them (Gotham) everything yet.” AKA his life. Duh.

And that’s all my own reasoning. I literally have not looked at a single spoiler, except the fact that the movie takes place 8 years after the events of The Dark Knight, but that detail is included in the plot summary on like every website.

It will definitely get the 2nd best opening weekend but it won’t be The Avengers. And for its whole run it won’t come close to The Avengers.

How can you be sure? The Dark Knight is top ten in highest grossing movies ever. And we all know what happens to sequels of movies like that…even if Rises were to absolutely suck, it would make over a billion dollars. Just because it’s predecessor did.

@Efeens: Which is why the Bane will crush Batman…

17: Really, did you ever researched the first Dark Knight? I think this movie is going to take Avengers by a storm.

Kittycatwindow I love you lol. Funniest video.

Sequels to mega massive movies don’t usually increase. And I’m of the group that thinks Heath Ledger had a LOT to do with it. And the Joker is much more widely known that Bane or Catwoman.
