The Dreaded 'B'

Greetings!
I'll try to keep this short. In my school, gym is graded based on 'participation', which almost always means 'whether the teacher likes you or not.' Anyhow, I have great grades in all my classes (most of them being AP,) however, I received a B (an 87, I think it was) on my transcript during sophomore year in Physical Education. Please try to not dwell on WHY this happened, as I could go on a whole rant about favoritism and injustice. My question is this: Will this have ANY affect on my college applications (to the top universities)? It has no bearing on my rank or even GPA, as gym is not counted in overall GPA.

Thank you, everyone.

It will most likely not get calculated into your “academic” gpa so probably not.

On a side note, most colleges heavily discriminate against fat people, and since they can’t ask for weight on a common app, they’ll assume your fat by your grade in PE. Community College incoming

^ I laughed out loud. Although I’m on the chubby side.

as gym is not counted in overall GPA. Nope it doesn’t count.

/facepalm …
