<p>Why is the deadline the same time we get our early admission decisions? I would think they'd give you a week or two like other schools, in order to decide whether or not you're going to your first choice (if you get admitted).</p>
<p>well, the deadline i think you might be confused with is the regular decision applicant deadline, they have to submit their materials by december 15th</p>
<p>as for early applicants, if they are admitted, they have until may 1st i believe to respond with their final decision</p>
<p>It's December 15 11:59 PST, so I suppose there's a chance you'll know before then.</p>
<p>I understand that the deadline is the 15th. I'm just saying that if I don't get in to my first choice college early (I find out the 15th), then I would like a couple of weeks to be able to put together my app for Stanford. What I'm implying is that I'm lazy, so I'd want to apply to Stanford ONLY if I had to (because I didn't get into my first choice).</p>
