so what is the easiest sat subject test in your opinion?

why does it matter? take tests in subjects you are interested in and/or want to prove competency in, not which ones you can post good scores on without much effort.

that being said, math level II has a generous curve and should be taken by anyone past precalculus. i took it to do well on so i could prove that I’m competent at math despite struggling and getting Bs (i got a 770).

In terms of percentile, Math II is the easiest to get an 800. Ten percent of testers get 800.

In terms of curve, the physics test and history tests I believe will allow you to miss quite a few questions and still get an 800.

Ultimately, you’ll do best at whatever subjects you’re good at.

dude, us history is extremely easy is you have taken a course in it, especially AP. Also, lit and math 1 are easy, they rely on basic skills that you should have by junior year

Chinese has an average score of 763!

i heard the break subject test was the easiest

@ FranzKafka

That’s because the vast majority who take it are natives >_> That doesn’t mean Chinese is easy.

Easy subject tests according to me:
- Math II
- Languages for Natives
- Biology E and M
- US History

Agree with the above post.

Unless you stupidly go too slowly on Math II… :(

The one that you are best prepared for.

Other than Math 2, I feel US History is the easiest to prepare for (not counting native speakers taking their exams).

DO NOT TAKE USH/ LIT/ MATH I.
800s in these subject test require 98th/99th/ 99th percentile.
Chinese is 57 or 61%tile for 800 because everyone who takes it is native. If they curved it u would have to get a 10000/80 to get 800 lol.
Math 2 is 88percentile.
Physics B is 92th.

If you take APUSH, USH is quite easy.
Lit is the only one you don’t need preparation for, so in that sense it’s easy.

How the percentiles are tied to the scores does not reflect how hard the test is, it just reflects the quality of the people taking it. The easiest tests are your native language (and this goes for Chinese too, unlike AP, b/c they give you pinyin) and whatever subjects you’re good at.

You don’t need to prepare for Math2 if you’re still using that knowledge in your math class.
