<p>The thing is, they published cartoons of the PROPHET Mohammad, not of Muslims. Perhaps some Middle Easterners do publish cartoons mocking Jews, but do they mock Jesus or Moses? There are many caricatures of Muslims out there. It's an entirely different story to insult the prophet.</p>

<p>This will become problematic as the MIddle East becomes increasingly interconnected with globalization. How will Islam impose it's own tenets upon the rest of the world? And with radicals instigating violence upon innocents, how much credibility will Islam be given in its demand for self-censorship with respect to its religion?</p>
