Don't make me laundrylist religious atrocities.

I think you've already done that before multiple times. So, I think you quite enjoy boasting about "religious attrocities".

But here's a thought, why don't you list all of the positive contributions religions have made to society? I highly doubt that you will because you have proven to be extremely one-sided. So, I'll do you a favor by listing only a few of these positive contributions: religious charities provide more economic and social aid to human beings around the world than any other organization with the exception of government entities, religious organizations fund schools, orphanages, clinics, social centers, retirement homes, colleges and much more. In addition, many religious authorities have intervened in political affairs in order to bring attention to attrocities and injustices. The greatest example of this is the late Pope John Paul II's public intervention in Poland to bring down the despotic communist regime there and other similar ATHEIST regimes in Eastern Europe and in the former Soviet Union. Many historians have credited the pope's intervention as being one of the greatest causes of the collapse of ATHEIST communism in Eastern Europe and in the Soviet Union.

Quite frankly, I could sit here and
go on
and on
and on
and on
and on
and on about other positive contributions.

Ooh, so philosophical and yet so utterly redundant and pointless. I have never said that attrocities have never occurred. We only disagree on the causes of these injustices. Where you see massive religious wrongdoing I see human nature as being the cause of these attrocities. I have said this before but I feel I must say it again: religion is not to blame, HUMAN NATURE is. The list of positive contributions made to society by religions proves that religions like any other entities susceptible to human nature contribute both positively and negatively to society. Human nature is forever the root of all the injustices of this world but at the same time a great cause of the numerous acts of kindness and justice on Earth.
