Anyone read Jacques Steinberg’s compelling 2002 book “The Gatekeepers”? I was wondering if anyone knows of the whereabouts of the adcom Ralph Figueroa. Wesleyan’s website indicates that he is no longer working as an adcom at Wesleyan. I’m also curious as to what became of the highly sought after applicant Julianna Bentes (College Class of 2004).
Anyone happen to know?
<p>Through Google magic, I just found out that Figueroa is currently the college guidance counselor at Albuquerque Academy, and his wife Natalie Figueroa is a Spanish teacher at Bosque School.</p>
<p>I believe at the end of the book it said Julianna Bentes went to Yale.</p>
<p>After graduating from Yale in 2004- then where? Stayed with dance pursuits, etc?</p>
