was anyone able to get into at least one class?

well if they dont open until 9 then they probably wont get the emails or do anything about it until then either

If someone can get this on the morning news, when a sufficiently senior Cal or UC official watches it on television, we might get some priority behind a fix.

and people say they love berkeley. psh

if they are looking for places to cut costs, the web programming and qa departments would be a good place to start, as the net impact to students would be zero

hmm now to decide whether or not to give up and go back to sleep

Just to add insult to injury, if you click on the link on telebears, from the transaction limit error message, the record change form link will get you to an error page on the summer.berkeley.edu site.

hahahhaa insult to injury indeed

u can google up the correct page though.
to add just a lil more burn to the wound, the change form aintt available

thats the missing item I meant.

otherwise it might have been a backdoor to register or at least establish a timestamp to your request to register, but it is unavailable.

i like how since everyone is gradually giving up, the red error messages are not occurring so much anymore which allows me to get to the add screen alot more and thus more transaction limit, yay! it FEELS like progress… BUT IT ISNT

Open hours are about to end…

based on when it is fixed, students with last names ending in A-E, F-K, L-Q or R-Z will get first shot at registrations, followed by the ascending letter ranges, until open hours tonight. Not only do we have telebears appointments that shaft folks, but now programming bug correction times that shaft people.

Are we sure the open hours thing applies to summer? I can still get through to the error

i don’t think open hours applies to summer. it wouldn’t be fair

My error changed. Now it says:
You are unable to add this course because the deadline to add courses for this session has passed. If you still wish to add this course, you may do so via petition at the Summer Sessions office:
1995 University Avenue, Suite 117
Berkeley, CA 94704

oh wowowowow open hours do apply whaaat

Yeah I got the same thing as berkeleystudent

Same change of error for me. The programmers are failing in new ways, but at least they seem to be actively playing with the code. Given infinite times, the monkeys will get it to work properly.

mayb thats a hanging error that is actually from summer 09? at least i hope so… idk
