The Great Outdoors

Okay this may sound odd in the villanova thread but it is important to me so im gonna ask: do people at villanova spend any time out in nature, i.e. hiking, biking, camping, skiing etc.? is there any kind of outing club like there is at almost every other college in the United States? I understand that it is in a very suburban setting and it seemed to me most people at the school arn't terribly enthusiastic about outdoor adventures but it would still be nice to here that some people participate on occasion.

Do not take this the wrong way I love nova it is a beautiful school with enthusiastic, fun-loving and intelligient people (the basketball team is awesome too). I guess im just kind of a nature lover and I might feel a little trapped if the only real escape from campus is to downtown philly.

or would everyone there really rather just go to the KOP mall?

Lol what you named is unheard of. This was actually something I wanted too, and I asked several friends that go there and they thought I was crazy :/

haha ya i kinda figured…it was worth a try anyway

Go to Cornell-- big outdoors enthusiasts. And fabulous phys ed classes that offer inexpensive programs – golf, skiing, horseback riding, crew…

i would love to go to cornell, but unfortunately i couldn’t get in. instead i have pretty much decided to go to the University of Vermont where I will be enrolled in the honors college. i wish everyone in the villanova class of 2013 the best of luck and hope you all have an amazing four years as wildcats.
