<p>agreed. you’re taking potential spots away from those who would accept if offered admission. did you know you wouldn’t be going when you signed up for the waitlist or did you get taken off another waitlist and then decide that you would not accept the possible harvard admission if offered?</p>

<p>Someone got a call during class yesterday at my kidos school. They got in.</p>
<p>houstonmom, so decisions are out already, or will they come on Thursday? My friend is an international student on the Harvard waiting list, and she’s pretty much dying to find out if she got in or not. I don’t think she’ll get a call as she’s an international (I think she’ll be emailled), but if some people could clear up whether Harvard’s started annoucing its decisions, it’d really bring some peace to my poor friend.</p>

<p>@Robs: Thank-you for the info. I’ll let my friend know. I hope she gets a decision tonight, instead of having to wait some more time. She has a hotmail account and she actually did get the waitlist decision from Harvard on April 1. I guess only some hotmail account users were affected, probably those with high anti-spam settings? I don’t know, this is the first time I’ve heard of such a thing.</p>

<p>I’m kind of worried about the e-mail. Mine never got to me last time. I use hotmail. I hope they fixed the problem.</p>
<p>I called the Admissions Office about 30 minutes ago. They said that their goal is to e-mail everyone with an acceptance or rejection by 4 p.m. EST today, but that the process could spill over to tomorrow morning. Accepted applicants will get a phone call, as well.</p>
