-do they all have microwaves or mini fridges that come with the room?
-at orientation, I stayed on the fourth floor of Jester East. I was surprised in the bathrooms because each shower was its own individual stall. is that the way it is in the honors dorms? I was expecting just a giant room with a whole bunch of spigots coming out of the walls
-in the showers, do people usually wear flip flops? is getting atheletes' foot a problem?
-is one of the three dorms coed by floor? like with all girls on one and all guys on another?

There is a combo microwave/mini-fridge in all UT Dorms.

No, it’s individual showers with curtains and everything.

Wear flip flops/shower shoes. Nobody wants to walk down the hall barefoot anyway. It’s just easier.

I don’t know this one.

I am a junior at UT. My first year in Andrews, all three dorms were coed by floor. This past year, Blanton switched to co-ed on the same floor for the bottom two floors. Otherwise, Andrews and Carrothers have been floor by floor always. Blanton is the worst anyway in my opinion.

Blanton is not the worst one. It’s definitely the most social one out of ABC. Sure the rooms might a smaller, and the restrooms maybe far away, but those are why people leave their doors open and intermingle so much.

If you are a freshmen, Blanton is the best way to make new friends. You can move to Andrews or Carothers later.
