I gave my APUSH teacher the common app teacher recs to fill out. He was a really good teacher, I even wrote my college essay on him. The thing is that the guy is lazy. I had asked him for a generic letter of rec in the summer and he gave a a good one. Now when I went back to him for common app, I gave him a copy of the old letter for reference. Now I'm scared he may have used the "whomsoever it may concern" letter instead of the observations or statement at the back.
Now does this significantly hurt my chances? to ivies?

bump.............

why don't you ask him? not a 'what did you write', but a 'did you just use a generic letter'?

I don't know why you'd ask him if you know he is lazy and might just use a generic one, but whatever. And I'm not going to answer your chances.

true to your name....
