Whoever wrote the names of the schools in the sand spelled Berkeley incorrectly.
Good choice!
Good for him. That was his first choice, he applied early, got in and had scholarships and aid to afford so could’ve saved himself from undue stress back months ago. I guess curiosity got the cat. He seems like a good kid and obviously incredibly lucky. Not every hard working kid gets rewarded for their efforts and get to attend their dream school. I wish him well!
He may become a roommate or classmate with my kid this year because my kid is also a non STEM kid. URM-ORM and full aid — full pay. That’s the beauty of college.
I actually watched the video of his finding out he got in, and it was hilarious because my kid reacted just like him except my kid checked the portal by himself and let out a curling scream.
I read the newspaper that NE girl who was admitted to all hyps ended up to Stanford, too.
My close friend’s son has decided on Stanford too for Biomedical Eng over MIT and Harvard. He had full rides to JHU and GTech amongst other choices.
@i012575; My dd had a same decision last year.
