<p>When you take the AP exam hardly has any bearing (if any at all) on the importance of your score. Getting a 3 as a freshman and getting a 3 as a junior probably won’t make the slightest difference on your application.</p>
<p>No matter when you took it, the equivalent college credit that your college of choice offers will not change.</p>
<p>So in essence, it doesn’t matter at all that you’re a freshman.</p>
