I feel the same way. I would love to move even to just Canada. The US is great and all, but I just don’t fit in. I don’t have pride in the US. I am much more proud of India than I am of America. Maybe I should convince my parents to move back home with me?</p>

<p>I seem to be going very slowly too. I’ve been sitting here with my common app essay for the past week not working on it. I feel like such a horrible student! 
And on top of that, I’m behind. I expected to have at least 3 school supplements completed by now, but I have none done, and I’ve got 12 schools to apply to, 19 applications total(special programs). That number just seems way too big.</p>
<p>What general topic are you guys doing your essays on? I’m focusing mine towards academics except with slight twist.</p>

but i have one big project which i guess is equivalent to 2-3 small projects.lol!
i am not against making them(read::the projects) the center of the application,but can this technique have an averse effect?i mean the adcoms should not perceive u as a boastful guy!!especially if one goes on repeatedly mentioning abt the projects!</p>

<p>ASAP? Well no, it’s best if you just hand in your transcripts. Honestly, it’s suicidal to give in a converted grade. Because it might hurt both ways, you may… over calculate it or you may under calculate it.</p>

<p>Colleges don’t like resumes, adcoms consider them pretentious. Ad an activity list or something. Don’t label it as a resume.</p>

thanks, so basically half of the spots on the school report are to be left blaaaank like whats the highest GPA in class, how many kids share the same GPA and blah blah blah…</p>

<p>It’s true I mean half my College application would be empty without a GPA. (Not really half but it just wouldn’t feel right). All forms ask for GPA.</p>

<p>Well it does look empty, but consider the fact that you’ll be sending in your percentage through WES or something similar. So that more than makes up for the lack of GPA spaces.</p>
<p>Though for my last year, I will get a GPA on a 4.0 scale, but I don’t think that’ll matter much though because colleges don’t see the senior year grades (just the predicted)</p>

<p>Oh. WES is basically some organisation that converts your grades to GPA. I would recommend using it ONLY for schools that most definitely REQUIRE a GPA for an INTL student.</p>
<p>Otherwise, I would recommend you to just submit your transcripts.</p>
