Wait, so that would make you (at least eligible to be) an American citizen, so are you applying as an international or local student to all these places?

That, exactly is my thought :)

I was considering it - who doesn't think of JHU when they think of life sciences? But a little scouring through CC made me realize that I do NOT want a cutthoat environment full of premeds...grad school, perhaps? Of course, this is extremely liable to change though.

Guys, didn't I tell you that shreya is an American citizen on the other thread? So obviously she's applying as a local resident! :)

Oh yeah! Now I remember :D Lol.. Makes me feel stupid now :D

Hmm, guess I wasn't there.

LOL it's OK :)

I know. So what are you guys doing as you wait for the decisions? Of course, apart from studying for the boards and other competitive exams that is?

Raising money for Senior Trip and working on other applications!

:D Senior Trip to where?

I have something like six months with nothing to do, so currently, I'm developing some dumb Facebook applications to get used to the platform, here's one for example:

getting bored! my parents want me to study for the boards- but i am not really into it now- it feels sort of useless. I'll probably get in 80's and i don't feel like working the extra mile to get a 90 above percentage. Obviously my parents don't quite agree!

and yes> i am applying as an American citizen, :) thanks tetris!

Senior trip to Bali--it's a tourist spot in Indonesia...All the seniors go there for easter break..Looking forward to it!!

Bali, mmmmmmmmmm!

How is Indonesia from a tourist perspective, is it messy like Thailand or a nice clean experience (which I wouldn't expect it to be)?

Welcome shreya!

Bali! Nice place...I may come there on vacation in the summer, although nothing's set in stone yet.

Depends where in Indonesia you go....
How is Thailand messy?

tetrisfan, u been to Indonesia before?

Indonesia is actually nice :) Been to Jakarta once. It reminded me a lot of India.....You cant brand it as being messy or clean. Really depends on where you stay from what i expeienced

well that senior trip sounds fun! i have my farewell tomorrow..and hi tetris!

Well, just that it doesnt feel the the safest, cleanest, most organized of places, much the opposite, tooks all over the place and stuff, but yeah, it is pretty cheap compared to HK or Singapore.
