yay! 26th- i go to Andaman and Nicobar! :D

Lol all my parents want from me is to do the best I can in whatever I take up, and have a good time :)

Oh yeah, we're free birds from March 28th evening onwards. I'm going to SE Asia sometime in mid-April (school closes for my brother only then).

Ah well! No pressure from parents! Like what tetris said, I did extremely well in my preboards!

March 20th exams get over for me! Whoopppeee!! And then April 13th I have the JEE ~Sigh~

And then, flying to America :D Going to Europe along the way!

^ you go in april itself?
you'll stay there till term starts?

Bah. My exams get over on the 31st ! Computer Science :(

Hey,
Has anybody heard anything from anywhere?
If U.S students are saying decisions have been mailed out Feb 15th (for a particular college), when do you think we'd receive them?!
Answer somebody, anybody!

Around the 25th I suppose.

It's the 26th!
Has anyone heard?

Anyone writing AP exams?

@Shreya: Yeah. But I am planning to go to Europe first, so it would be sometime in May when I will land in the States, and yeah. Will stay there till term starts......

@Karishma: I got admitted to UCI and the admissions letter was postmarked on 15th Feb, havent received anything yet :(

@polydentate: Hmmm. Not me, but Abhinav was I think

Wow, 3 months in the US? The scene can get boring real fast if you're stuck somewhere rural and boring

^ exactly what i was thinking.
if i go in july itself and then i have nothing to do except sightseeing and shopping - i might get homesick and depressed so i was thinking of going just a few weeks before term starts.

Yeah, I think a few weeks earlier would be ideal. It gives you enough time to settle down and acclimatize, and you can also visit friends and family before moving in.

hello everyone

Hey Lima!!

@Shreya and tetris: I think I might be spending more time in Europe. Actually, we plan to go there by late May, say around the 25th or something, as my aunt who lives there is expecting her first child, and my mother wishes to be there. Since, we were planning to go there anyway, we decided that I might as well accompany her. It might save a lot of logistics planning. Also, I have 3 uncles living there in the US. So it wouldnt really get boring..

Anyone here from DPS Noida??

No, dont think so..

Europe is beautiful and you have so much to do there- especially now with the cheap flights from one European nation to another (some as cheap as 20 euro!). But the language thingie is a problem! As long as you speak broken French, German etc people are very nice but as soon as you switch to English something in their attitude changes.
But as long as you have a busy schedule you'll love it!
so Shruti you'll probably be speaking in American accent by the time i get there! :)

Lol! :D I am not very sure about that. My mom studied in Europe and has friends in most of the places there, so I guess that wouldnt be a big problem! But its a beautiful place! And we guys should meet up once you know, once all of us get there :D

Btw, Shreya, have you been to Europe?
