the intended major paragraph

I submitted part 1 already, and i put MechE for the "What field of study appeals to you the most right now?"
Is it okay for me to write that I am interested in MechE along with other ones like EE in part 2 or should i stick to MechE since thats what I put down for part 1.

Yes, it's okay. What you're interested in right now is not binding.

would it be bad if part 1 doesn't exactly corresponds to part 2?
like for part 1 : MechE
part 2 : MechE, EE?

Of course, it's MIT! There are tons of people doing collaborative work. The fact that you're thinking about blending Mech E and EE points to creativity! (but don't put down 15 different majors, because that's just asking for it)

yeah mechE is EE is like great for inventing !! (influence from FIRST robotics.... DEAN KAMEN!!! anyone else saw the prosthetic arm? it had like 18 points of rotation! lots of parts but only weighted 6-8 pounds!!! and it is connected to the nerves in the arm)
It's hard to do much with MechE without EE and its hard to make something cool in EE without MechE (I am not that into CS though XP)
