The Interview

For the interveiw they asked to be prepared with questions, would anyone know what type of questions one should ask? Also, what type of questions to be prepared to answer? What to wear-Formal/casual?

I would wear either a suit (may be to much) but can never overdresss or a jacet and tie. Dress like you would if you were interviewing for your nomination. You do nt want dress to be a decideing factor. I was surprised about dress when my son went for his congressional interviews, some had on jeans and sneakers and he wore a suit. He got the noms don’t know about the other. If $$$ are an issue remember you can look good without spending alot. Pay attention to your shoes, make sure they are clean. When is your interview are you doing a visit? I will have my son also reply. Remember you have only one shot at a first impression. Good Luck

Definitely err on the side of formality. As a mid here for four years, I can assure you that the recruits who come here sloppy looking (and there have been quite a few over the years), really do stand out to the regiment - and not in a good way.

I wore a jacket and tie for mine and that seemed very much appropriate. You don’t want what you wear for one day of your life to influence your future in a bad way.

ok sounds great thanks. So I think a jacket and tie will do well…and its coming up this week and yes I do have a tour. Im supprised that its as long as it is from 10:30 to like 3 I think. Its cool that you get to have lunch with a student there who can really tell you what everyday life is like at the academy. Would you know of certain questions that I should ask and what questions I should be prepared to answer?
