The large scales in the Blue Book

<p>Is there any way to narrow these down?</p>

<p>For example, I just took a practice test and many of my raw scores had ranges such as 690-770, or something akin to that. </p>

<p>I realize this is because of the various curves, but is there any way to find out a more precise scaled score?</p>

<p>Unfortunately there isn’t a way to narrow them down. CB has never given these tests for real so they have no way of knowing the exact curve for the test. They approximate the curve for the BB tests and that is why the scales are very large.</p>

<p>^ Yes there is a certain “range” but you can make a better estimate by looking at past curves.</p>

<p>Just average them, that should give you a good score.</p>
