Hey guys,
I've been hearing rumors that some schools do the thing where they email only ADMITTED students "decision release notification" twice before decision comes out, for waitlist/rejects, they only email once. I have no idea if this rumor is true at all, or if it applies to Columbia or not. I personally only got one email from Columbia on 3/24. I was wondering... is this the same for everyone? or are people getting other emails from Columbia?

pardon my paranoia. i'm just freaking out a little bit about tonight.

Not sure about Columbia, but my son did receive two reminders from Cornell–one as recent as 6:20-ish this morning. No buzz on Cornell site about this, though.

^thanks for replying! i received two from Cornell as well! There’s a Cornell thread about this and people apparently think everyone got it. But no one knows for sure.

cornell, I got one. Columbia: I got one. But got 2 on U-Penn

@WantBrown on which days did you receive the two from UPenn?

I got 2 on from cornell

i guess we will soon find out if 1 or 2 emails from cornell meant anything…
i can’t believe i’m about to find out about all these schools in less than 30 minutes. this is surreal…
