The long wait ahead.

i've only had dreams about being rejected...
[sighs]
this is really bothering me, i'm only in 8th grade and here i am flipping out over rejections... i used to think only seniors in high school did this...

I had one dream...about me at st pauls. Cant exactly remember what was heppening anymore tho. I just kno I was a student at SPS.

Hmmmm, most of my dreams are forgotten or are very vague to me so fortunately I don't know about any BS dreams I've had.

Pep-band was not very fun... at all.

I feel like everyones gonna disappear for a while,
and then come back in time for March 10 (:

Think of it this way: by the time you apply for college, you'll be more prepared!

That's one thing that helps me keep my mind off of DDay: college stuff. I have to take the SAT next month (#@$%_*#^), which has me in a state of constant freak-out. Also, the entire search process for college is awful. There are too many! Every time I think I have a good list, I run into some more places that sound great!

Oh! I had the weirdest dream last night; I got into Exeter and I was all excited when I got there, but they kept going through lists and stuff, looking confused. Finally they told me that "there must have been some mistake, you didn't make it in here." I think I woke up crying. lol.

@Starcrossed: That sounds like a horrible dream! I'm sure you'll be fine though come decision day.

I was looking through old threads, and a lot of applicants last year had weird dreams too! By the way, does anybody go like "Okay, if I make this shot, I'll get in to blank school."? Or like "If I don't..." etc...

I do all the time.

I'm so busy with up-coming tests, homework, and softball takes up 1/ 8th of my day. I'm kind of glad I'm busy, but can't wait until decisions come in. :)

@thingslost: Yes, I do that all the time, but of course I cheat myself and when I miss I just say
"That was just a practice shot!"
So in reality (if I think about it) I don't do that because I never do it the correct way.

Last night I had a dream about being rejected to Choate...

Or perhaps it was being accepted I don't really remember ahaha

something about Choate (:

Choooate. Love it.

I am re-reading all my favorite books. It's been a wonderful timesuck. (Anyone a Juno fan?)

I re-read the whole Harry Potter series this summer =) I know how you feel!

I love Harry Potter!
I'm writing a novel... I'm such a dork. ;) but I stayed up until 2 a.m. yesterday with ideas. It was amazing.

Wow!!! What is your novel about? Or is that super-secret information?

Didn't Harry Potter go to St. George's?

Lol! I think on CC, I've met more people who are writing novels then in my school combined... I'm writing one too. I love those inspiration bursts, lol, and the "AHA!" moments you get sometimes when you're writing :]. That's awesome, Saer!!

I'm trying to decide between schools, and I've visited both. Does anyone know which Studio Art Program is better? Indiana University at Bloomington, IN or University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Ill.

Might want to post that in the college part of the website. This is the prep school admissions part =)

Haha, it's not super secret, but the plot is hard to summarize.
Basically, a girl, and she saves a king's life a magic 3 times and by the old laws becomes the King's Savior, and when she sacrifices herself for him, she's saved by this bond.

sounds weird, haha.
