Yeah my interviewer for Andover wasn’t the most encouraging one Ive interviewed with. The best by far was my interview with Exeter, Ms Down, even though I didn’t go through with the application.
The Andover extension is literally saving my life. My English teacher and counselor still haven’t submitted their recommendations yet.
I think that it may also have to do with the schools downloading the materials at certian time. (The date and time discrepancies in Gatway that is) does anyone else know is the recommendations take a while to show up as updated?
Darn, one of my teachers has accepted the request and two have started it. The other two haven’t a done anything and I’ve asked and reminded them as much as I can without being overbearing and pushy so I guess I’ll have to just wait and hope that they do it. Here’s to anxiety!
How did you guys submit you standardized test results? I only have acess to my scores on the back of my transcript and college board won’t let me have acess.
Though wouldn’t you have had to make an “MySAT” account somewhere to register for the test itself? Or did your teacher/guidance counselor just register for you?
Don’t torture yourselves, guys. No amount of agonizing will change the outcome. You all worked phenomenally hard to come this far, and probably learned a lot about yourselves in the process. At this point, it is in the lap of the gods (and the AOs!) Be proud of yourselves, and go have fun doing something that IS in your control. Don’t second guess yourselves. Breathe!!!
Look at it this way - there’s a 5-week gap between now and the next round.of decisions (from 'oh no! - now what?", to ‘which of the acceptances shall I take’ and ‘what do I need to buy for my dorm’. This is a month of relaxation, no decisions and mental rest! Have fun with it!
