Out of all the "regulars" on the Yale boards, I'm betting 50% of us get in. True facts.

Would Yale accept someone with an incomplete on their midyear report for one quarter? My cousin applied to Yale and he was sick at the end of the quarter, but he didn't update the grade yet (b/c the teacher has to finish grading stuff is what he said I think). Would that lead to automatic rejection?

why do you think 50% would get accepted from this board? I'm just asking after the MIT massacre and they had a 6.4% acceptance rate. Anyway, I hope you're absolutely right!

16:19:55:35 hahahahahaha lol lmfao rotflol roflz lmfaootflol lulz

Wait 6.4% CC acceptance rate, or overall? Big difference.

and, yes, I'm being optimistic, but I bet we can hit 25% if we try really hard :)
And remember, I said Yalie regulars, not just CCers in general ;)

Try hard
But I thought everything else is done.
Decisions have probably already been made.
Try hard? Am I missing something

Well, on Oprah the other day, she said to just send your dreams out into the universe, and the universe will make them come true! :D

In that case, we should be able to hit 75%, no problem!

Haha it's a figure of speech.

Oprah is another character
Throw your dreams, lol. First of all, it is a dream.

Hey - Oprah on the Stanford board got in, both he and she are superstas! He was a regular on the Stanford board, so heres to us Yalie regulars... hope all the hours poured into CC have finally paid off....

All I need to do now is pray every night before I sleep :)

^amen to that!

I'm a regular who sort of went on hiatus. Now i'm back and i'm finding this wait nearly impossible. But i'm calm...

very calm....

^ does calmness mean you go to sleep 5 mts after you receive a rejection?
at least that's what i did :P

after all this
i wish i could fast forward to May

and shouldnt we concentrate on the countdown
rather than what will happen after the countdowns over :(

^ 5 mins after? That's impressive. And healthy, I think.

I also think I'm more worried about how other people might take my rejection than how I will. My grandmother - who speaks no English- asks me daily about 'Arvard and Yell. Daily. It's like my whole extended family is living this through me.
Bah and humbug!

^ arvard and yell sounds nice :P

deferred from yale early, and massacred by MIT. 16 days, dont let me down yale :)

Hmm... Yell Hell? :)

Agreed, IndiaRubber - Not a day goes by without an enquiry from my relatives. The worst thing is that they all are completely confident that I will get in, which is very depressing :(

I dont experience it from my family but worse

my friends keep telling me i will get in somewhere really good
thing is i prolly wont if the decisions are gonna be a replay of stanford and mit

the futures not bright
the futures red

@ sev Same here. THat's why I didn't tell anybody in my family that I applied to HY. If I get rejected know one will find out, if I get in...well I guess I won't find out.

The bad thing is though, that I'm starting to like Yale. I only applied to Harvard and Yale for kicks originally.

Sev, wouldn't it be more depressing if they weren't completely confident you'll get in?
Hahahaha but I love how our parents and relatives love us so much they are unrealistic.
