heehee...yeah.

Hey, guys, I got into Drew today! It was exciting...reassured my expectations of not getting in anywhere. :)

Hey, guys, I got into Drew today! It was exciting...reassured my expectations of not getting in anywhere. :)

Woo! Congratulations.

Yep, I have my acceptance letter from Jayhawkville sitting in front of me to keep me from crying. :)

I wish i had an acceptance somewhere.......unfortunately all my decisions r yet to be released

babybird,

I hope that relieves some pressure...good luck w/dartmouth.

march first is going to be a massacre for some and a day of celebration for others, i hope i will be able to celebrate :)
i feel bad for people in the US, or at some of the schools, where the stellar stats people applied to all school with no enthusiasm for going to a particular one. I think Dartmouth will realize, we are true and loyal to the green and we are the people who will go :)
i am luckier compare to blu and cali, i am the only one from my school who applied to american school :), however, i may have to compete against people in my city :(
gl everyone, i hope we all celebrate on march 31st, or april 1st.

Congratualtions to all who have gotten acceptances letters, as I am sure that aa giant weight has been lifted just to know that you have been accepted somewhere.

I wish that this period was not so tough on all of you who are still waiting (I don't think they call it March Madness just for the basketball). I have every confidence that everyone is going to end up some where wonderful. I have been chatting with a lot of you since september and if it were up to me you would all definitely be in Hanover in the fall. No matter what, always remember that you are all so special and there are colleges that have keyed in on your specialness and they are going to be so happy to have you in their class of 2009. Don't let the wonderful people that you are all hing on the acceptance to one school or another, because no matter what, I see you all people who really have some great work to do.

11 days and counting. I just hope that you all continue to show the the same level of grace and comeradie that you have shown through out this whole application process. I am still rooting for you and cheering you on no matter where you decide to enroll.

Thanks, syb. Promise you'll be here on D-Day, some of us will need you. :)

I'll be checking in for you, cheering for you no matter what:)

I got into UC San Diego today! That was very nice. So did my brother (he might actually go there, too). :)

I can't believe the "day" is so close. For EA decisions, time literally crawled. It seemed like it took forever. But now, before I even thought about it, it's like 11 days away! Weird. :p

Good luck everyone. Everything will work itself out in the end, so no worries.

I'll stop worrying when I get into some good schools :)

Congrats Calidan on UCSD,

I got into UCSB(Mon), UC Davis(Tues), Swarthmore(Wed), and Oberlin(Fri)

Cant wait until Berkeley on the 31st, anyone else

I'm just waiting on Dartmouth and Princeton.

I was waitlisted at Wash U along with everyone else, it seems.

Thanks, jblack. Congrats on all your great acceptances, too!

I'm still waiting on Dartmouth, Brown, Penn, and Berkeley. They all come out on the SAME DAY! How scary is that. :p

yeah, that IS really scary.

oh boy. my very last post in the triple digits...i better go make a thread glorifying my severe lack of life haha

gtown will get back to me on the 28th. scary indeed. i still need to hear from colgate, dartmouth, columbia, harvard, and pton.

that's a WEEK AWAY.

Even though Dartmouth is by far my fave, I'm seriously just hoping that I get into ONE of my reach schools. That way I can console myself: It was arbitrary as hell!

I am waiting for...D, Yale (HA!), Cornell (HA!), Columbia (HA!), Penn (HA!), G-town SFS (HA!), Tufts, NYU-Stern and William and Mary. scary to think that in less than two weeks, we'll all know where we'll be spending the next four years of lives...

not me, knowing me I will decide where I am going at midnight on April 31st. heehee.

blu-- are you going to Sunday at the Square for NYU?

haha what's that? NYU's admitted student day?

i think i have a very good shot at NYU. two people who were not as qualified as I got into the General Studies program, so at least I'll get into that. plus I'm a double legacy. I just really dislike the lack of campus...and feel like it's a haven for all those "misunderstood" kids in high school, who are like "I'm getting out of this town and going to the city where i'll be independent!" even though half the people I know that go there aren't like that at all lol

oh, they sent invites out to likely undergrads...but thinking about it, I think it was only for the Arts and Sciences school.

ooh, i gotcha. i don't think i've gotten anything from them

argh. 6........0........s........e.........c.........o............n...............d................s

let's type lyrics to what i'm listening to

so where'd the years go? all the time we had
being poor was not such a drag in hindsight
and you wonder why your father was so resigned
now you don't wonder anymooooooooooooooooooooore

THE ASCENT OF STAN!
