Just got this in the mail.

Anything that asks for money seems sketchy to me. $45 confirmation fee?

Has anyone heard of this?

It's worth nothing. Just shows you have money. It's worthless on apps.

Yeah I got that last year. It's just another one of those things that wants your money. Is that even worth putting on an activity sheet or no?

I wouldn't put it on there.

don't even think about it. NSHSS does for recognition programs what Confederate money does for currency.

I got that too. It looks like absolute bull, but I can see some people absolutely falling for it. Sad thing is, my parents believed it and I had some convincing to do so they wouldn't shell out that $45.

It was $40 last year wasn't it?

I paid $45 because I didn't do my research. I figured since the Nobel Family, Maya Angelou, and Tyra Banks are sponsors it has to be something good. Boy, how stupid was I?

Bottom line: Save your money. All you get is a list of websites that you probably already know, (for example: yahoo education and Fastweb) and they try to convince you to buy some crappy merchandise.
