The New Harry Potter Movie

Did anyone see the new harry potter movie yet?? What were your thoughts on the movie, did you like it better then the previous ones?? How long did you wait in line?? I waited roughly around 3hrs..

I saw it when it came out at midnight. Honestly, it fell short of what I expected from it. Like all other HP movies, it was fun and enjoyable, but I couldn't help thinking that they could have done so much better, considering how good the book was and how much there was to work with. Great action scenes as usual also. Basically, I really thought they just left TOO much out and they didn't make enough of the material they had...

I waited an hour and a half at a smaller theater. I thought it was definitely worse than the other ones also.

i saw the movie. i didn't have to wait at all, though...

i really liked it!!!! it's been so long since i read it that i had no idea what was gonna happen in the movie (besides Sirius dying).

after the movie, my sister informed me that they left out Harry and Cho's date and that there was no quidditch...i didn't notice, but she was annoyed by it.

We went to see it this morning at the 3-D IMAX. There were no lines and the theater was only half full.

All of us really enjoyed it, especially the short segment that was in 3-D. True, they always leave out favorite segments from the book, but it would be hard to keep everything in. For what it is, it's a nice way to spend a few hours.

By far the best HP movie!! I read the books and they did leave/twist things around, but if they hadn't the movie would be close to 5 hours long. It was, after all, the longest book created. I thought it was so good and followed the story line the best of all the movies. Put in all of the important things (except the 2 way mirror) to help with the further movies. It's so good and I recommend it for everyone.

three hours to see a movie? was it the release date? I'd never stand in line for a movie, no matter how highly anticipated it was!

i saw the midnight viewing as well, and i think it was worth it (even just to see the people in capes with wands hehe :) )
i didn't hear the "give them hell from us, peeves" said by Fred or George, which is one of my favorite lines. There was also no Rita Skeeter interview. It was a little wierd how there was suddenly a giant sunflower field outside of little whinging.... and no quidditch! they also left out when mcgonagol was stunned by the 5 peeps and umbridge. Besides this, it was good. The ending battle was awesome between Dumby and Voldy, umbridge was perfect, luna was great, neville= good, and the fred and george seen was cool.

GAH! I hate you all.

Haha, I watched it and then watches ALL of the credits, and then it was really weird because people who were going to watch the next showing started coming in while I was watching the movie.

harry potter=amazing. the end.

You should've just stayed in your seat and watched it again shravas rofl.

^ lol. if i actually liked harry potter, i would have doen that!

i saw it on monday =D

it was my favorite book (so far...lol JULY 21ST WOOT!) and they cut a lot out, but I loved the movie. I won't be able to say if it was my favorite movie until I watch it a few times...

It was a good movie movie (effects and whatnot) but they cut out too much for it to be good for the fans. I walked out of the theater with steam coming out of my ears, they "fit" 110 of the most important pages in the book into 10-15 minutes? Um, hello?!?!?!? Add a few minutes to the movie, noone's going to mind. I really don't like how the screenwriter did this one.

But Evanna Lynch was perfect for Luna, and Dan did do a ton better than he has in the past, imho. He did the part justice.
