Sorry for sidetracking all of you guys from your college stuff, but this thread was made entirely to put aside the college stuff a bit and relax.

who saw the movie? did you like it? what did you think?

I saw it twice and I thought it was awesome. Anyone else?

Mad-Eye sucked; they made him almost comical.

He was not scary in any way. The first scene he entered, I just thought, "what the F is wrong with your face? you don't even look like a bad ass."

cho chang was OOOOGGLLAYYY. There are soooo many better lookn azns out there, and they chose the one with a scottish accent, bravo. Other than that, good movie.

i liked it, though it strayed too far from the book. and they cut the whole quidditch match! i mean they have this whole crowd scene, and you get revved up, and then it's a total letdown. i also missed dobby.

i agree w/ smoke&mirrors--mad-eye's eye totally looked plastic. but i did think the ball scene was well-done, and so was the underwater one. and ron weasley gets better-looking every year!

so,yeah, overall, a good movie, and better than the 3rd one.

Cho was probably the ugliest azn girl I have ever seen. A little chunky too.
Just had a funny image of Luci Lou from Charlies Angels as Cho. Freaking awsome.

cho chang gets thumbs down.
that "awesome dragon scene" didn't happen in the book (but I admit it was well done)
moody was not great
why didn't they do the quidditch world cup?!?! it would've taken like 3-5 minutes.

kinda funny how cho chang's name has a bit of korean influence as well as chinese influence....but yeah...they could have picked a better looking asian....

that aside, the dragon scene was AMAZING, but it seemed like they put most of their money on that....because the underwater scene with victor krum's sharkhead was just....wow, weird. other than that though, i agree that more time was spent on the ball that could and should have been spent on the graveyard scene. i just didn't realize that cedric would go that quickly (i read the book, but it seemed like he lived a tad bit longer in the book....but my memory's bad).....overall though. 4.5 out of 5 stars

cedric only had like 5 lines in the movie, and he dies with no sympathy from the audience. i remember reading the book and cedric had much more character development than in the movie. also, rowling made it clear in the book that cedric and cho chica are dating and harry is completely jealous. however, in the movie it seems like cho and cedric are paired randomly.

anyways, i enjoyed the movie. the dragon scene was a little bit overdone, but better overdone than underdone. the actors are better at acting (rewatch harry potter one, you will cringe) and the action is more intense.
