The Not Quite 2000 Club

ok, time to update.
I hate the SATS

I now have a 1990.

oh!

EXACTLY a 2000.

CR: 710
M: 530
WR: 760

math went up TEN points, even with additional preparation. it sucks, but hopefully won't kill me considering I hope to be going into communications. my apps are in and I really don't think I care anymore.

good luck everyone :)

i hate my life. 2040

Sorry, I'm graduating...my best composite score is now a 2120 and I just got 2060 total on the October.

Woo-hoo for perfect Math score!

Boo-hoo for bad Reading and Writing scores.

AHHHHHHH

I hate my life

April 2006- 1980

yeah, i got my new scores. i'm still a member.
1990

m: 670
cr: 670
wr: 650

and the only one i cared about was math. and it didn't go up at ALL

mo fo..
cr 600 math 690 writing 620 = total 1910
worst than last time...
best composite score
cr 600 math 780 writing 620 = total 2000
still in the club???

600 CR
660 Math
650 Writing
1910
I thought i did better in CR (620 first time)
best composite: 1930

I got 1970, which is a 130 point increase for me. I hope that my score gets me into UC Davis.

Sorry that I could'nt post sooner. There was something wrong w/my internet service this morning. I am on cloud nine right now. I just broke 2000 w/a 2010
Here are my scores:
M: 710 (+50 from last time)
CR: 620 (-20 from last time)
W: 680 (+40 from last time)
Total gain = +70 points

My superscore is a 2030 which I'm quite happy with. I'm going to retake in Dec. just to see if I can raise my CR score and possible break 2100. I'm beginning to calculate the score gain/loss and will try to have that ASAP.

So far here are the stats:
Avg gain / loss = +41.43

of members breaking 2000 = 3 out of 7 (42.86%)

Largest gain = +90
Largest loss = -30

These stats are only for the people who have submitted a set of scores from before the Oct test as well as their Oct scores. I'm counting on more members submitting both sets of scores so I can get a more accurate result.
New members who joined w/Oct scores can be included in the statistical analysis if they submit scores form a prior test that are w/in the 1900-1990 range.

lol i suck

1900 -> 2090

now im at 2030.. on the oct test lol. i think collegeboard messed up my test

Updated stats:

Avg gain / loss = +40.63

of members breaking 2000 = 4 out of 8 (50%)

Largest gain = +90
Largest loss = -30

Backfire, since you already broke 2000, I averaged your 1900 and 2090 together to get a 1995 and then used that score in the analysis. So your score went in as a gain of 35 (1995 to 2030).

used to be a member with a 1970( M 670, W660 and CR,640)
im not anymore though :) 2140 (M 750 W700 and Cr 690)

Updated stats:

Avg gain / loss = 55.00

of members who broke 2000 = 5 out of 9 (55.56%)

Largest gain = +170
Largest loss = -30

Nice job worried07!!! I thought my gain of 70 was good, but a gain of 170 is truly amazing. As for you other members, don’t be afraid to submit your scores, even if you have a large decrease. The more sets of scores, the better the data.

I guess I just entered this club. Haha.

Second time taking SAT's, went up exactly 110 points from the last SAT although I went down in critical reading.

June Oct

M: 610 650
CR: 600 580
W: 600 690
Tot: 1810 1920
Composite: 1940

I'm pretty much dead set on taking it a third time since I was aiming for that 2000+. I'm considering whether I should or shouldnt.

woot i got a 2190! i had a 1980 before, a 210 pt gain!! now im part of the not quite 2200 club :(

i got a 1870 and fell short of the club requisite by 30 points. Can I sitll join? I need a support group

I officially withdraw my application, which I never gave, from the not quite 2000 club. I originally had 1920(M: 620 CR: 600 and W: 700(12)) and just got my October test results with a 2050.(M: 670 CR: 680 and W: 700(12))

woot, 130 point gain and no studying for any SAT's whatsoever.
