I'd be in this club, but I gave up on the SAT and am now very pleased with my ACT score. I'd encourage everyone to at least try it out, I only wish I knew about it sooner!

[/quote]

I concur with this! Definately try the ACT if your SAT score isn't great... I got a 1700 on the SAT and then later got an equivelent of 2000 on my ACT.

I'm trying the ACT but I have a feeling that my math and science were REALLY low.

I got a 26 on the science in my first try.. I got it up to a 29 on the next ( just by reading the review material in PR ).. In my opinion, science is all about geting used to the timing. I didnt have time to finish the last passage on my first try and hence the low score..

I was fine on my science practice tests, I had 29's well within the timing, but this last science section was just extremely different and difficult.

SuaVe, we have the exact same scores. That's so weird. I'm surprised at the success rate of people breaking 2000 (almost 2/3rds of the members). This % is even greater if you include the superscores (13/14 which is almost 93%!!!). We should all be proud of our accomplishments. :)

This may be a bit off-topic, but can someone please view my Chances thread. I really need someone else's opinion about my chances. Whenever I ask my counselor if I have a chance, he just gives me a sugar-coated answer like "you should apply because you never know" or "you're a very good student and can get into most colleges." I would really appreciate someone's honest opinion. If you want to help me out, the thread is called "Desperate for my Chances!!! Please Give Your Input."

can u gimme the link to ur chances thread?

Hepstar, add me to the breaking-2000 list-

I got 2060 in the Oct. Sitting and a 2120 superscore.
